    McCool Digital is run by founder Mike McCool, an experienced digital manager and proud and unapologetic millennial who grew up connected to the digital world as it has opened up new opportunities and new challenges. Since founding McCool Digital in 2019, he has helped dozens of political campaigns, non-profits, and independent expenditure organizations reach their unique goals online, from awareness to persuasion messaging to fundraising and more. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music, watching movies, and the great outdoors.

  • Holland Griffin

    DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY

    Holland Griffin is a seasoned communications strategist with a demonstrated record of success in navigating crisis communications in the national spotlight and building brands through digital and earned media. Holland has leveraged traditional and digital communications to raise Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s local, statewide, and national profile and break down complex information for new audiences. She helped drive communications for the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and led the Walz-Flanagan Administration’s digital presence. On the Harris-Walz campaign, she developed and implemented digital strategies to introduce Governor Walz to the country in less than three months. Born and raised in Minnesota, Holland is a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She is currently based in Washington, D.C.

    DIGITAL STRATEGIST

    Kaia, a Digital Strategist, is experienced in fundraising, marketing, and strategic communications. Originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Kaia studied English and political science at Macaester College. She has worked on political campaigns in state and local government and in the private sector. Now based in Brooklyn, she spends her free time reading, watching women's sports, and browsing vintage markets.

    Alex is an experienced digital marketer with a strong track record of optimizing campaigns, refining audience strategies, and leveraging data to drive results. Over the course of his career, he’s managed more than $30 million in digital ad spend, delivering real, measurable impact for brands across industries. With experience spanning politics, legal, tech, real estate, retail, and more, Alex has played a critical role in full-funnel marketing, conversion tracking, and performance analytics. His expertise in plain-language reporting ensures that teams have the clean, actionable data they need to scale. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Alex is a lifelong Mets fan, fitness enthusiast, gamer and Dog-dad to his 5-year-old rescue dog, a Lab/Pittie mix.

  • Kevin Orr

    Kevin Orr is a multidimensional copywriter, strategist and creative with proven experience across the digital marketing landscape. For four years and counting, Kevin has utilized his talents to craft transcendent messaging and digital content for values-driven campaigns, nonprofits, and brands. At multiple progressive agencies, he wrote copy, informed strategy, and drove execution for exemplary digital marketing and fundraising programs for campaigns and organizations including The One Campaign, Eric Swalwell for Congress, and the NDRC. At The Lincoln Project, Kevin ideated, wrote, and designed a vast array of timely social media content that informed voters on key issues, fearlessly held politicians’ feet to the fire, garnered the PAC significant attention across platforms, and blazed the trail for online conversations surrounding the 2024 elections. A born-and-raised Oregonian and proud graduate of the University of Oregon, he now lives in Washington, D.C.
